SCHEDULING & POSTPONED MATCHES (continued)

5. Every effort should be made to avoid a postponement, for a team requesting a postponement they should notify the opposing team captain at least 4 hours prior to the match date and starting time. Giving less than 4 hours of advanced notice to the opposing team captain, can result in a forfeiture for that scheduled match.

6. Games not played for any reason must still be paid for in the league fund, by both teams, except for Byes.

 

PROTEST PROCEDURE

1. Authority to protest rests with the team captain.

2. Protest must be in writing and be presented to the league representative within 48 hours after the match.

3. Protest must include a $20.00 deposit. Protester loses the $20.000 if he/she loses the protest. The $20.00 is placed in the league fund. If protest is won, the $20.00 is returned. This procedure will be followed exactly.

4. Protests must be presented to the league representative, who will then set up a meeting for all the team captains (excluding the two teams involved in the protest) the team captains will decide the validity of the protest. Protests which are the result of a misunderstanding of the rules or rulings will not be submitted for a decision.
